Although the Founder, Ms. Vega, LMFT has provided services and care to a wide range of clients from different walks of life for over 12 years, Make It Happen Center has been specifically designed and prepared to take on Clients from Specific sectors of work and backgrounds. Is there a reason there are specific individuals that Make It Happen Center provides services to?

Yes. The founder and owner, Charmill Vega, M.S, LMFT has amassed over 20 plus years of working in education, organizational and clinical-based settings. She also has her own personal background as an athlete and has done work in the entertainment industry as an actress and model just to name a few. Therefore, Charmill has worked alongside and advised many people from different walks of life that range from doctors, military active-duty service members, executive producers, models, teachers, other mental health care providers and more. Her main observation and realization during her work in this field has been that these professionals face high-levels of stress on a daily basis and rarely seek out their own help because they are constantly fighting up against the hero-complex. Many of these professionals do not have an outlet because of fear of judgment, breech of confidentiality, or simply because of shame and embarrassment. But Charmill is on a mission to change that because she has seen first hand what the sports world, entertainment industry and several other high-stress environments can do to people, which can lead to thoughts of suicide, depression, anxiety symptoms and so much more. Thus, by identifying the niche she is most passionate about and narrowing down the service population to those mentioned above, Ms. Vega is confident to be able to provide premier mental health care, faith based counseling and several other services to meet the individuals needs in order to promote lasting change and a whole-person impact.

When was Make It Happen Center Established?

Although Ms. Vega has over 12 years of clinical experience, Make It Happen Center is a new agency that was established in 2024, and officially opened its doors on May 30, 2024. Ms. Vega often shares that this was a 17 year prophetic vision in the making that has finally been given birth to.

Does Make It Happen Center take Insurance?

Not Yet. It typically takes anywhere from 4-6 months for a provider and or organization to partner with insurance providers and get credentialed to be on their panels. Therefore, Ms. Vega and her team are working diligently to establish relationships with insurance providers so that clients can maximize the use of our services.

Does Make It Happen Center Keep Clients Health Records Confidential?

100% Yes. Make It Happen Center prides itself on keeping patient and client records safe, secured and confidential. We make sure we uphold all legal and ethical laws pertaining to HIPPA and PHI Compliance. All records are stored and locked at all times, and no one has access to the files except the provider working on the case and the clinical supervisor, which is the founder, Charmill D. Vega, LMFT. At the onset of psychotherapy or other services, all members are provided with informed consent as well as therapy agreements acknowledging confidentiality and HIPPA laws.
